I discovered my ride in 1990 in Atlanta, GA. It was an all-original 17,000 mile car which had languished in the Peachtree Hotel parking garage since 1945. The original owner has passed and I purchased it and brought it back to Michigan.
I gave it a tune-up and replaced ignition parts and it ran like a new car. I also gave it a complete brake job and rewire.
The car still has original paint, carpets, headliner and even the original spare tire and toolkit.
The only modification from original specification is that the time clock has been converted to a quartz movement.
This car is history on wheels, built November 1941 and almost all original, except for replating of bumpers and hubcaps.
It has been widely featured in magazines and has won many trophies for Best Original Car.
