No modifications, just recently got it running after it has sat since 1984. Still a work in progress.
MoreMarine blue paint, custom 50's style white roll and pleat interior, wood grain dash and garnish moldings, stock drive train, flathead 6 with twin carbs, split exhaust and R10 overdrive. Fun car to drive and runs great. The picture of the black car is what I started with. I have wanted one of these cars for a very long time and in a 50's style hot rod
MoreImported to the UK in 2019, having previously been part of the Goat Hill collection in Costa Mesa, Southern California. Had been unused for 25 years so needed work to get it going again. Complete braking system replaced, plus fuel system, convertible hood, and numerous other adjustments. Now covered 82,000 miles.
MorePaint and interior all original, covered only 54,000 miles. Imported to the UK in 1952 by a Mr McDonald, who transported it from Nova Scotia to England on an aircraft carrier. Put into storage for 35 years before being resurrected by me.
MoreI was given this coupe after it had been a mouse house for 10 years. It\'s mostly original except for the paint and interior. Still running the flathead six and Fluid Drive trans.
MoreI found this on Craigslist in New York and it has 14,000 miles on it now. The guy sent me the original tires with it but he put new Coker Wide Whitewalls on it. I had to have the brakes gone through. and have a carburetor kit put in. I keep it in a heated garage all winter. My brother has one but his is a Highlander and it has 65,000 miles on it or so. The same color. I am trying to find replacement carpets for it for the front and back if possible. The back ones are in good shape. The front driver carpet is getting worn out.
MoreI discovered my ride in 1990 in Atlanta, GA. It was an all-original 17,000 mile car which had languished in the Peachtree Hotel parking garage since 1945. The original owner has passed and I purchased it and brought it back to Michigan. I gave it a tune-up and replaced ignition parts and it ran like a new car. I also gave it a complete brake job and rewire. The car still has original paint, carpets, headliner and even the original spare tire and toolkit. The only modification from original specification is that the time clock has been converted to a quartz movement. This car is history on wheels, built November 1941 and almost all original, except for replating of bumpers and hubcaps. It has been widely featured in magazines and has won many trophies for Best Original Car.
MoreIt’s an ex Ft Myers, Florida, police car. Restored by a retired officer to use at the police academy.
MoreAn all-original pre-war car, still running 6-volt electrics with positive ground.
MoreRestored for my dad Roland in 2008-2010. Started with a basket case. My late friend Roger Mahlon helped with mechanicals and another late friend Dickie Bailey did the paint and final body work. Minimal mods: 12v alternator, gauges and light bulbs, bespoke fuel tank and battery box.
More1952 Chrysler Imperial Hardtop Coupe with 331 Hemi, power steering, power windows and power brakes. This one-family car was imported to Germany from California in 2019. It is 1 of only 440 of this model produced in 1952. It's all original. In 2021 all electrics, power steering and exhaust were rebuilt.
MoreThis eye-catching ‘56 DeSoto sat at French Lake Auto Parts in Minnesota for a couple of years before finding a new owner and being imported to Sweden. Bought by Timmie in 2018, the car needed some attention before being able to pass ‘Inspection’ for use on the road. In three years he has replaced the fuel tank, fuel lines and carburetor, installed new brakes all round, a new water pump, hoses, wiring and a lot more, including fitting a complete new interior. Future plans include a full re-paint and a set of wide whitewall tires to add to what is already a beautifully glamorous car.
MoreThis super rare 1942 ‘barrelback’ Chrysler is one of only 16 known survivors from a production run of less than 1000. When new, these were the most expensive Chryslers on the market and considered a high-end luxury vehicle, comfortably able to carry 9 passengers. Owned by Harold for more than 50 years, this car is one of the rarest, and one of the most valuable, 1940s Chryslers. Similar cars have changed hands for over half a million Dollars!
MorePurchased in Belgium in 2015, from a previous owner who had become too old to drive it, this imposing New Yorker has been tidied up with some new chrome, tires and repainted rims, and treated to replacement brakes, bearings and more. Plans for the future are mostly focused on enjoying it and putting more mileage on the clock!
