Owned by Harold Mermel, President of the Chrysler Town & Country Club, this Jupiter Green is one of only 700 built in 1950, which was the final year of production for T&C woodies. Interestingly, the 1950 Chrysler and Crown Imperial cars were the first Chrysler cars to have all-round disc brakes. This is a true luxury car; longer, lower and wider than almost everything else that would have been on the road at that time.

MoreImported to the UK by a German doctor, the early history of this fabulously original Plymouth is unknown. Russ & Steph bought the car in 2012 and have fully overhauled the braking system, fitted a new radiator, rebuilt the carburetor and lots more, including fitting several pieces of new chrome. Future plans include a new set of tires and a full interior retrim. The hunt for a pair of factory fender skirts continues, too.

MoreSupplied new in Texas, this amazing Plymouth wagon, nicknamed ‘The Green Monster’, has been one-family owned since 1970. Through the years the car has hit some low points, suffering from an oil-starved motor and rusted out wheels but it’s now running a fresh 318 and there are plans for improved ignition, some general TLC and, down the line, a repaint in original seafoam green metallic, which is a ’68 only’ color.
